Such A Disappointment

This book is one of the many reasons why I generally read reviews before trying out new artists. Shioban has to be the weakest and dumbest female character I have ever read about. In what world is it ok for your husband to continually cheat on you and you know about it and accept it just as long as he doesn't give them his heart. I only made it to 62% completion and had to let it go, it was draining me literally. There was no character development, just this man constantly cheating on his wife repeatedly and them having sex whenever she threatened to leave. Shioban was supposed to be this bad bish but this is definitely not bad bish behavior.

The book has potential to be a great read, but at the end of the book, there seem to be a few unanswered questions. The only real conversation that seem to take place in the entire book was as the end between Evan and Siobian, when she has had enough. All other conversation ended in sex. Anger, fuss, & fight, let's have to make it all better. That was the only time you didn't sex at the end of a conversation...real feeling and emotions were displayed.
Evan and Chrissy was a joke. Why did it take his wife to leave, for me to realize this girl didn't want him. What happened to Evan and Chrissy. The wife was out of the picture, what happened to them? I can see Evan not wanting to be with her after the baby,&Siobian leaving, but after everything Chrissy did to be the next Mrs. Rizzo, what happened? Why did she give up on making Evan hers only? We never saw the end of their relationship/ or whatever they had going. But I would read part 2, just to see how this ends.

Just a poor substitution for a good book

No & no! Choose something else even though this is free with Kindle Unlimited. I'm still not sure of the nationality of the character although the book cover has Black people on it. lol. Just a poor substitution for a good book.
